Toms River Regional Schools Goes Paperless in 2011-2012 For the 2011-2012 school year, Toms River Regional Schools will be issuing all report cards and progress reports electronically through the Parent Portal.  To access the parent portal, you must register in person at your child's school. Along with completing the necessary registration form (please print the form prior to visiting the school), you will be required to provide a photo ID. You must be the legal parent/guardian of the child for whom you would like access.  For additional information, please contact your child's school. The students collected 40 boxes of food. Each student who brought in food got to cast a vote for the team they think will win the Superbowl. Giants won! Washington Street Elementary celebrated the upcoming Superbowl with a football day. The students supported their favorite team by wearing team jerseys. Jesse Tate, a senior at Toms River North HS, will receive a full scholarship to play football at Elon University. Congratulations to the students of West Dover for winning the Read with Rita’s most books read contest. The Urso family of Rita’s Rt. 9 has presented over $4,000 to TRRS PTO’s and provided over 15,000 kids ices to readers. Magic 100.1 radio station selected Beachwood Elementary's Mrs. Susan Wallace as a 2012 Teacher Who Rocks! Mr. Vandenberge conducted the band members of South Toms River Elementary during their Winter Concert. The Band and Chorus, led by Mrs. Irons, did a great job entertaining the faculty and students of South Toms River Elementary and the parents who attended. Melina Sobieski, the founder of Bones for Bow-Wows, raised $410.00 to donate to the Humane Society by selling pet related items during lunch time at Pine Beach Elementary School.
